i just had a porcelain/silver crown placed on my back right lower tooth about 2 weeks ago. Now the tooth next to it just chipped and I havent eaten any hard food (nuts) at all. The chip is at the inner back of the tooth, which touches the front of back tooth that the crown was placed on. Any chance this new crown or dental work, caused that breakage? Also before having the crown placed, I had xrays done and my teeth cleaning (2 weeks ago). Couldnt this all have been prevented?
