Will I lose all the hair growth progress if I stop using Minoxidil? (photos)

I am a 69 y.o. Woman that suffered hair thinning after hipreplacement surgery. I wear wigs sometimes but notice that I have hair loss around my edges due to friction. I see little hairs around the edges and where the thinning has occurred. I started using minoxidil and have noticed the thinning hair around my edges and top of my head where the hair loss occurred is thickening and the tiny hairs I had before are growing. Will I lose all the hair if I stop treatment?

If you stopped the Minoxidil in May then it is unlikely that has anything to do with you have in a period of TE now. Both PRP and Low level laser therapy have been successful in some patients to slow down or stop the TE. However, like all non surgical hair loss options they work for some...

The mechanism for testosterone contributing to AGA is NOT a direct effect but rather through it's conversion to DHT (which is the offending agent in hair loss) So by blocking the formation of DHT, yes you may see a slightly higher level of testosterone but that in itself will NOT worsen hair...

Glycolic acid is great for dandruff, when indicated the right way. Its always better to use the formulations of shampoo with ac. gycolic, remember no to use the one for facial. That way youll have good results.
