However after any orthodontics the bite should always be adjusted because the fit of the teeth is so very important and our brains insist on a very specific bite. Fortunately a bite adjustment is a simple thing to do, and all dentists are trained on how to do it. Unfortunately dentists graduate from their training without an good understanding of the importance of a perfect bite. Fortunately there are a number of learning centers across the country that emphasize the bite (or occlusion as we call it in dentistry). I would suggest you contact either the Pankey Institute or the Dawson Academy and ask for a name of one of a doctor who has taken courses from either of them and lives near you. A simple adjustment will fix all of your problems.
