Can dry eyes and inflammation cause star bursts during the day on electronics?

I am recovering from inflammation which caused blurry vision, severe dry eye, star bursts during the day on electronics, I recently finished 4 weeks of lotemax and my vision is no longer blurry, dry eye continues to improve daily but the starbursts during the day is still there. I am now 6 months post lasik and these complications started at 4 months. Are these common symptoms from dry eye and/or inflammation?

Many people with darker pigmentation in their skin or eyes can have these types of spots and they are totally normal. However, you should see an eye care professional to be sure that this spot that seems to be growing is not something more serious like melanoma.

Corneal haze is treatable. You are doing the right thing by continuing to see your surgeon for care.

This is certainly not a typical side effect of LASIK.  It would be prudent to check with your surgeon and your primary care doctor.   It is possible you either are over-corrected or over-responded to the vision correction and are now farsighted forcing you to accommodate and...
