Can you use the fascia blaster device on your stomach if you've had abdominoplasty?

I had abdominoplasty almost 3 years ago, and the muscle was sewn back together since it was so stretched from my twin pregnancy. I have been using the fascia blaster device on other areas of my body and wondered if it would be safe to use it on my stomach or if that would cause damage to my stitching?

Thank you so much for submitting your question. Since your surgery was three years ago, it’s unlikely that anything that you do from the outside will cause any damage to your surgical results. All absorbable sutures have disappeared and any permanent sutures are well incorporated into your muscles tightening. I’m very familiar with the Fasciablaster device and I don’t see any harm in using it on your abdomen at this time.  Just understand that there is no research to support its benefits or implicate any harmful affects from using this device, which is why there is little discussion about this device. As far as I’m aware, there are no long-term harmful effects and thousands of patients have reported a variety of benefits. It should improve any contour irregularities of your abdomen by releasing any fascial adhesions so good luck and happy Fasciablasting.
