Would You Advise the Master Cleanse After Smart Lipo?

Question

I've lost upwards to 17lbs on the cleanse in the past. I did put the weight back on gradually because I went back yo eating unhealthy. Ultimately, will this affect my lipo results?

Master Cleanse is a modified juice fast that permits no food, substituting tea and lemonade made with maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Proponents claim that the diet detoxifies the body and removes excess fat. There is no scientific evidence that the diet removes any toxins, or that it achieves anything beyond temporary weight loss. 	In my view, beginning resistance and interval training with a personal trainer is an excellent method to maintain and build upon the results of a Smartlipo procedure.  Good luck!

I would advise against this following the surgery as this can lead to electrolyte abnormalities among other things. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. It is best to wait until you are healed and see your final results until you do any cleanse. Your final results will show your new body figure you may not want to do a cleanse at that point.

Master Cleanse sounds like a weight loss program. I have found that keys to good lipo results long term are sensible eating and exercise. Allow yourself time to heal before dieting
