How Long to Wait Between Cosmetic Surgeries? Vaser and Rhino?

Question

Hello. I am having a secondary rhinoplasty and vaser lipo ( plus fat inyected to my butt ). I would like to know if I can do lipo on the first weekend and have my rhinoplasty on the next weekend after that, as I am in a hurry to get both done asap because of my schedule. If it was up to me I would do both at the same time but I will be doing both procedures with different doctors. My doctor says the nose procedure would take about 3 hours.

I can see no reason to make you wait between having VASER® Liposelection and a rhinoplasty.  There’s nothing about either procedure that makes the other recovery harder, and they can be synchronized with good harmony.

	You can walk after each procedure immediately after surgery. Of course, refrain from nose blowing for 2 weeks after your rhinoplasty, but that has nothing to do with your VASER® Liposelection procedure. If your goals are to have multiple areas treated with VASER® Liposelection, it doesn’t preclude you from having a successful rhinoplasty recovery.

	Actually, if you were having them both done by the same plastic surgeon, you could have them both performed at the same time. You won’t be overly swollen after VASER® Liposelection of your trunk, and it won’t affect your rhinoplasty in a negative way. Plus, it would save you money if you had both procedures together. Is there a reason you're seeing two separate surgeons?

I would agree with the other authors the there is no reason that you cannot perform the two procedures at the same time.  This would certainly allow you to schedule off any recovery time

Agree with Dr Wallach on the possibility of same day surgery. But if the secondary rhinoplasty is that intense than maybe you should separate the surgeries. Over the internet very hard to determine

Why not do the rhinopalsty and the fat injection to the buttocls on the same day?  Ask your surgeon.

Vaser liposuction and Rhinoplasty surgery can be performed at the same time. If you are having two different surgeons preform the procedures it should be possible to have them both done in the same week but check with your doctors first. best wishes.

You can certainly do both of these procedures on the same day. just coordinate the surgeons' schedules. These procedures are done together many times without any adverse consequences.
