I would not worry yet. It takes a few weeks for the swelling to subside and the reaction of the tissues to the Sculptra to take place. After 4 weeks dilute steroid injection can help remodel the results but hold tight.

With any injection, there is a risk of bleeding and bruising.  I advice that you discontinue any aspirin, fish oil, prior to the Sculptra injections.  If there is bruising, it may last up to a week or longer.

The first approval in the U.S. was for the treatment of facial wasting in HIV patients.  They have a Patient Assistance Program for those with low incomes.  Call your trained and experienced injector.  There is some paperwork involved, but it is a help.
