Big overbite I’m unhappy w/. Dr said he can’t move top teeth back more because I didn’t wear bands enough. Is that true?(photos)

If you did not have overbite (protrusion of the upper teeth) before treatment, it is a result of the braces and more importantly, the treatment plan of the doctor treating you.   If your teeth were at all crowded before braces, the overbite is the result of allowing the teeth to straighten with out planning how to managing the resulting overbite.    To blame you because you did not wear rubber bands........he/she is responsible for the outcome and have alternative plans if rubber band wear was not what he/she expected.
