Hello, I am male at 45 age with NW 1 and have done a 870 graft job on my temples, and wonder if I can use Spironolactone instead of Propecia to inhibit more receding since mane in my mothers family have NW 3? Propecia gave me neurological problems just after 3 pills and I don`t want to use topical stuff. The feminization effect of Spironolactone wouldn`t bother me even if it turns me to a female.

I would definitely not recommend taking spironolactone as a male.  It not only can cause gynecomastia, or breast enlargement and feminization, but also loss of libido and reduction in sexual function.  It would not turn you into a female at all, just would have unwanted side effects and probably would not solve your hair loss problems.  I think the risks far outweigh any benefits you might see, but please see an expert in hair loss.  Perhaps you would get some improvement with microneedling with PRP or just PRP injections.  There are some dermatologists and other cosmetic physicians that have devoted a lot of research and practice to hair loss, so please seek out an experienced physician who can evaluate your scalp in person and offer suggestions.
