What is the best way to remove eyebrow tattoos?

Thank you for your question. It is not recommended to have laser removal on tattooed makeup. This is because most of the ink used for tattoo makeup is not the same as used on the body as they contain metals, such as iron. This can result in the tattoo turning a rusty brown or black color. Hello and thank you for your question.  We are frequently asked about this.  In our practice we use the PicoSure laser by CynoSure, which is FDA approved for tattoo removal but not recommended for permanent makeup removal.  The reason that lasers are generally incompatible with permanent makeup removal is that you may actually experience a darkening of the tattoo, which is exactly the opposite of the outcome that you are seeking.  This is likely due to the iron oxide or metallic component commonly found in permanent makeup ink.  Therefore, at this time, we do not recommend using laser treatment for removal.
