My doctor has recommended J Plasma for my back, side of my breasts and upper chest area. I had a breast reduction less than a year ago, but my skin has poor elasticity and needs tightening around my breasts. What are the risks involved and the recovery time? I am very active and swim and run. Also, how would it work in combination with liposuction for the breasts to reduce the volume of breasts? I'm still a bit larger then I wanted. Thanks

Answer: Renuvion Thank you for your question. You would benefit from J-Plasma, it is a revolutionary minimal invasive procedure, that instantly tightens and rejuvenates the skin anywhere on the face and body. The downtime is significantly shorter than traditional surgery. As it is quite a new procedure arrange a consultation so you can be advised of the great benefits you are looking for, and discuss the added option of liposuction if required. All the best

Answer: J plasma to breast, chest, and back skin This technology is as close to a magic wand as I have seen in surgery. It is low risk and for most patients, it doesn't make recovery any more difficult than doing liposuction alone. I use this in my practice, and my husband has also had it done, so I've seen the recovery and the results first hand on a daily basis. If I could do it to myself I would! Risks are similar to liposuction (fluid collections called seromas or contour irregularities), but honestly the risks are rare. Recovery depends on the surface area, the amount of liposuction, your body's swelling and bruising response, and your ability to push through mild discomfort. Most patients can return to work in 2-3 days and can return to strenuous workouts within 2-3 weeks. As far as liposuction for breast reduction, the results depend on how much of your breast is fat (which can be suctioned) vs what part is fibrous breast tissue (which is much more difficult to suction). For a small reduction, and in combination with J-Plasma, it should be effective. More than 1/2 a cup size reduction might require surgical resection through your scar, but this is something that can only be evaluated in person.
