When I was about 13 I had braces put in due to very high canines and overcrowding. After removing them I never realized how terribly slanted they still were, I believe it was due to a lack of wearing rubber bands on the right canine to bring it down. I am now 19 years old and looking to get braces back on because I believe this crossbite is also to blame for the asymmetric development in my masseter muscles(the side with the lower canine on my top row of teeth clenches before higher canine)help
