Belching after lap band? Is this a sign of something going wrong?

I have had a lapband for 5yrs, for the last year I belch almost continually, after drinking eating even taking my vitamin tablets, is quite embarrassing, doctor suggested having my gallbladder removed, which I did but didn't real make any difference. Is this a sign of something going wrong

Yes, this is not a problem and is fact a fairly common situation. The tummy tuck is performed on the skin, fat and muscles outside the abdominal cavity and the Lap Band is inside the abdomen so there is no problem at all.

The band port is sutured to the abdominal muscle.  With aggressive abdominal exercise and twisting you can pull on one of these sutures.  This can cause pain and a bit of bleeding which is why you have a bruise.  You do not need to do anything at this time.  Some times the port can flip com...

Yes, the more weight you lose with the lap band the more you can feel the port.  Some times the port may feel as if is just floating around.  This is expected after substantial weight loss.  This is why the company made a smaller port called the pass port.  Consult with a bariatric surgeon abo...
