Belching after lap band? Is this a sign of something going wrong?

I have had a lapband for 5yrs, for the last year I belch almost continually, after drinking eating even taking my vitamin tablets, is quite embarrassing, doctor suggested having my gallbladder removed, which I did but didn't real make any difference. Is this a sign of something going wrong

In my opinion
there is no link between belching and your gallbladder so I do not think that
having your gallbladder removed will make any difference to your
symptoms.  Belching is generally related to swallowing air when eating or
drinking.  This is a habit that some people have and is very subtle and
difficult to be aware of.  Again it is not specifically related to your
lapband unless the way you swallow or eat has changed as a result of the
lapband.  It may help to have the band loosend a little if it is too tight
and making it difficult to swallow comfortably.
