Can SculpSure help to reduce the effects from paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) from CoolSculpting to some extent? (Photos)

Question

I had CoolSculpting done 2 years ago and suffered the effects of PAH to my lower abdomen and flanks. I waited a year before seeking any treatment. I had a consultation from a board certified plastic surgeon who confirmed it and the company paid for liposuction but didn't go through with it because that's not something I was interested in. The recovery time is a bit too long for me and for other reasons. I did truSculpt iD 4 months ago which seems to help slightly. Would SculpSure help?

I'm not certain if SculpSure would improve the PAH you developed after your CoolSculpting treatment, but I think it is possible it could help.  I think the risk of SculpSure treatment would be extremely low and I do not believe it would make your issue worse.

Unfortunately, PAH can only be treated effectively with liposuction. As a liposuction specialist, I see Coolsculpting induced PAH (Paradoxical Adipocyte Hyperplasia) too often. 
Coolsculpting creates very fibrous tissue in the treated area. The fat tends to be very resistant to weight loss. The only effective solution is liposuction. The good news is that you can contact the manufacturer of Coolsculpting (Allergan/Abbvie) and submitted a claim for liposuction treatment reimbursement. You can submit your photos and claim online along with a quote for treatment from a liposuction surgeon. It may take a few months but you will get your payment. 
I recommend you seek treatment with Vaser liposuction. The procedure can be done while you are awake under local anesthesia. The Vaser technique uses ultrasound energy to emulsify the adipose tissue. The ultrasound waves are able to penetrate the PAH induced fibrosis producing a superior outcome. 
I own sculpsure and perform 4 different types of liposuction. Your best option would be Vaser treatment. You have excellent skin quality and should look really great once your have your corrective liposuction procedure. Good Luck!
