What can be done to minimize the appearance of a raised forehead scar? (photo)

5 months ago I was cut on the forehead, superficial degloving. When the stitches were removed, I immediately noticed that there was a mound of skin next to the scar, She flattened out a bit in 5 months...but I'm really, really insecure because of that, What can I do to make it flat?
