Is 4 vials of hyaluronidase too much?

Question

I had three syringes btw refyne, lyft and silk, under the eyes, malar and cheek areas, nasolabial folds, lower face , sides of my face. It is in multiple areas. Before that I had 1.5 syringes of refyne , which I liked. Tried to dissolve a three times with : twice w. two vials of hyaluronidase ( hylenex and vitrase) and once with a vial. I did not get much success. Went to see someone known to fix botched fillers. She suggested 4 vials bc it’s in multiple locations. Is it too much ?

Typically 1-2 vials suffice. However, this depends on how much product was administered as well. I suggest seeking at least two opinions from board certified physicians. Best, Dr. Emer.

Thanks for sharing your question and sorry to hear about your experience. A good rule of thumb that I tend to followup is 1 vial of Hylenex per 1 mL of HA filler. Lyft and Silk, which are NASHA technology, are relatively easy to dissolve while other technologies such as the Vycross in Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella are harder to dissolve and may require more treatment sessions or vials of Hylenex. Something does not make sense here. A small vial of hyaluronidase has enough product to dissolve a "horse". you really need to see a plastic surgeon who can offer you a proper treatment and management of your issues. Good luck from New York City
