I’m a 37 years old male congenitally missing my upper lateral incisors. My orthodontist stripped enamel from both sides of my first premolars and the front of my seconds premolars to avoid surgery. They now look and feel awful and there is still not enough space for implants and my upper jaw doesn’t fit correctly over the lower. It looks like I’ll need surgery still. Can these premolars be repaired back to their original shape with wrap around porcelain veneer or would I need full crowns?

Answer: Can I repair interproximal reduction with veneers?
It is normal to have a dull ache with a temporary crown. The margins are not sealed properly with a temporary and because of the work that has been done, tooth can be sensitive up to 2 weeks. Always discuss your issues with your dentist before your permanent crown is cemented.
Hello,
After you a Crown it doesn’t have to hurt you also when you bite, so contact your doctor to value it and get solutions. Probably you have to adapt the crown or get a root canal for the sensitive.
Good luck!
Hello,
Try to shave your dental Crown won’t cause affect the integrity of it. Also when you bite and not adapting the doctor have to do it. Don’t worry about it.
