Is it okay to get 2 sessions within 3 weeks for facial hair removal?

Hi, Thank you for your question. It is not ideal to take a couple of laser sessions in 3 weeks. Since you have finished 6 sessions i recommend you to start with your maintenance once in 60 to 90 days if your growth is under control. Hope this will help you. 

I typically have patients do every 4 weeks for the first 3 times and then every 4-6 weeks for 3 times after. Diode, alexandrite and yag lasers work best for hair removal and are safe for all skin tones. Thank you for your question. 3 weeks gap is a bit too soon although you can still do treatments but normally a minimum of 4 weeks gap will give you best optimum results for laser hair removal treatments on the face. We wanted to target hairs at its full maturity or anagen/active growth stage. Laser hair removal treatments have to be spaced several weeks apart to ensure that your hair is in its active growth phase. Otherwise, you won’t see much of a result. Since you’ve already had six sessions and your hair growth has probably significantly slowed by now, it would be best to just wait until you’ve returned home to pick up where you left off, rather than trying to squeeze two in at once.

While this won’t be harmful, it is more typical to time facial laser hair removal treatments about 4 weeks apart. The cycle is faster on the face than some other areas like the legs, but 3 weeks is a bit soon although not problematic.Best wishes,

3 weeks is a bit close together but not harmful. The hair growth cycle of the face is faster than of the legs. We normally try to space the treatments of the face by 4 weeks. 

It is fine to have treatments that close together. I think that you will get some results from the 2nd treatment. The hair cycle on the face is faster than other areas so this is done quite frequently in our office. I just bought the latest and greatest hair removal laser - Splendor X
