I was treated with Picosure for a cafe au lait macule on my face. I have type 2 skin type on the Fitzpatrick scale. The dermatologist passed the laser on my CALM once at 60 pulses, with a spot size of 2.9 mm, and a fluence of 3.03. The area turned coffee brown and the top layer flaked off. The CALM disappeared, but reappeared a week later. Is the doctor correct in only doing one pass on the CALM? I do not readily see results, and am hesitant of going back to the same place.
