Is the hair on my left temple receding or damaged? (Photos)

Receeding hairline is not a hair loss because of ongoing process of androgenetic alopecia but  a simple juvenile type maturing of frontal hair line.  That is seen almost every young boys almost between 16-21 that have a very rounded hairline without recession in the corners.  Recession in the corners is a sign of mature pattern male frontal hair line.

Asymmetry could be a normal variation but still suggestion to seek expert opinion.
It would suggest to see a physician experienced in hair regrowth and find out if PRP + ACell could be an option for you.

There are a few causes of asymmetrical temples inlcuding hairline maturation and androgenetic alopecia (MPB). The biggest error one could make at this stage is assuming they do not have male balding based on history alone.I have included an interesting reference showing how male balding is often not symmetrical when it starts. Best to see a doctor to find out for sure. What I need is a frontal picture with your hair pulled back and your eyebrows lifted high so that your forehead creases. That tells me what are the anatomic point that allows me to determine the proper place of the hair line
