You can wait. We often let implants heal for 4-6 months before completing the crown without issue. It will be fine to wait a few more weeks.

Not sure what you’re trying to ask here? Your question is “What is the longest period of time you can wait before getting a crown?” The answer to that question is as long as you want. You want to wait 2 years, it’s up to you. You want to wait 10 years, go ahead!  We don’t advise that, but it’s patient’s perogative on when they want or can get the crown. Some has money issues and some just don’t tell like coming in. Your other statements are just simply confusing! Something about 3 weeks you’re going in to see your dentist and then 1-2 months until you get the crown. Are you going in in 3 weeks for your crown or just a check up? Rule of thumb for implant integration (ie healing) is 6 months but every dentist is different on their philosophy. So if you had your implants now for 4 months and you’re getting your crowns in 1-2 months, that timeline sounds about right.
