27, options for treating with smile lines? 95lbs & very little facial fat (Photos)

Hi Ive had prominent smile lines since I was about 21, I am now turning 27 and they have gotten much deeper and are making me look aged. I had filled the lines with filler twice a few years ago but it made it look worse & puffy so I had it dissolved. The area protrudes out, more so on the right side, even before I had filler. What are my options for treating these lines? Would lasers and morpheus 8 help? I am very thin (95lb) and have very little facial fat. Thank you!

Hi Brit0982, thank you for your question and photos. From what I see, it looks like you have mild to moderately deep static expression lines. Morpheus8 microneedling plus resurfacing could be a good option for helping to reduce the depth of the lines by repairing/building collagen, tightening the skin, and superficially smoothing the epidermis. However, due to your anatomy, low weight, lack of volume in the area, and the repetitive movement when smiling Morpheus8 still may not completely smooth the lines and could require additional carefully placed filler for best results. But even with multiple-modality treatment, those lines may very well still exist to some degree.I would highly recommend consulting with an experienced Morpheus8 practitioner as well as a skilled injector in order to address the specifics of your concerns.

The fact that it looked like the filler was protruding, simply means that whoever treated you is not very good with fillers. You need to be treated by an experienced injector, such as a plastic surgeon who can examine you and determine what would be the best filler in your case.
