Is this normal after a Jessner peel & glycolic acid & what do you suggest I use? (Photo)

I did a jessner peel and he also mix it with glycolic acid after the peel my skin became like this i called the office and he said it's normal just to put some aquaphor but i am a little worried because this never happened will the dark area lighten up? Please suggest me what I should use or do? Thank you
