Can you tell from the picture if the wrinkles above the knee are caused by fat pushing down the skin and knee? There are wrinkles only when I straighten my legs. If so coolsculpting to reduce the fat above the knee could help reduce the wrinkles? if not, I guess I will have to go through other skin tightening procedure? Thanks a lot!

Answer: Improving Knee Wrinkles with VASER, ThermiRF, Fat grafting versus Coolsculpting Coolsculpting is good for fat removal, but lacks skin tightening. I recommend skin tightening with a hi definition procedure like VASER HI DEF. I use VASER with ThermiRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal and skin tightening. This combination will give you the smoothest result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Vanquish and profoundRF can somtimes hep for this. Thermage or ultherapy or alternatives. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: It works on pinchable areas of fat. Coolsculpting would not be effective for sagging and wrinkled skin above knees. It works on pinchable areas of fat. You may consider different treatments for skin tightening such as ultherapy in combination with some other treatments. Make an appointment with board certified provider to get examined so a promising treatment plan can be created. Good luck!
