Are all teeth whitening products essentially the same?

Yes, all teeth whitening products are easentially the same in generally speaking. But when you go into the details, some are more effective than others. The two main active ingredients are hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide. Both active ingredients has different concentrations in percentages, ZOOM is more popular because they’re more common and been around. I’m sure there are many other brands that are similar to ZOOM. Give that whitening system offered by your dentist a shot and share your feedback. Saving money is always great.

I agree with your local dentist, zoom is a very well-known brand but the active ingredient is exactly the same regardless of the brand some products have a smaller percentage of (hydrogen peroxide) other a bigger, personally because of the popularity of zoom I started using it with my patients but as a customer of zoom products I was not fully satisfy because even though the results were good, the percentage of (hydrogen peroxide) was a bit stronger than most office whitening and this cause my patients more sensitivity.
