My dentist wants to take off my braces but I feel as though my teeth aren’t straight? (Photo)

Hi there, My dentist would like to take my braces off next week and I am still not content with the result I have. I believe my UL1 tooth is not correctly aligned- my dentist has said once my braces come off they can do further refinement but surely this should be something that braces can fix? On my lower brace, he has told me that one of the teeth will not rotate any further and that I can leave it on for longer if I would like- is this true or is he trying to rush this process?

You may want to ask your dentist in regards to permanent retainers so that the teeth do not relapse

You'll have to call the office to see what they have on file.  Many offices keep models of your teeth the day your braces were removed so that replacement retainers can be made, but some offices lack storage space and are unable to keep models for all of their patients. You may need to...

Generally, if a spacer falls out naturally it is because it has created enough space and is no longer being held tightly between the teeth.  The space will usually close up within a few days (definitely in 19 days), but that doesn't mean they won't be able to get the band around...
