I'm 19 year old female currently on my second month of Spironolactone and my acne is worse now, what do I do?

Thanks for your question.  Usually spironolactone is a helpful addition for adult women with acne and hair loss, but it does take time to work.  You might want to increase the dose to 100mg daily with the assistance of your doctor (if they agree with that dose), and also you might consider a course of isotretinoin or accutane to help with the deeper, cystic lesions.   Please discuss your options with your dermatologist - there are quite a few other things you can consider, and they want your skin to be as clear as possible.  I am sorry you are suffering with this and wish you the best of luck!
