I have really bad anxiety about skin cancer & noticing this today really freaked me out.. I’m going to see a dermatologist about it ASAP, but I’d love some reassurance in the meantime..

Sometimes moles grow back or have arms and fingers or pigment that repigments if the mole is shaved. this will need another shave or excision at this time.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. If necessary, this can be removed again with laser, radiowave or shave. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
