4 years with braces and teeth are still crooked. What do you think would be the best treatment? (photos)

I have had braces on for 4 years so far and although it has gotten better since the beginning, for the past year my teeth have not been moving. The front teeth are slanted toward one side, and 2 teeth stick completely out, where the back of the teeth touch the bottom front. They also flare outward. My bottom teeth are crooked as well. I haven't had any teeth extracted, my dentist did not feel the need to. What do you think would be the best treatment?

Assuming that you have done everything that was asked of you (keeping appts, etc) I would immediately get a second opinion!Just a guess (as I do not have ANY information about what you looked like at the start)  but I think you needed teeth out for crowding...without enough room the doctor is stuck unable to get a good result

I would suggest expressing your concerns to your orthodontist - you could even show them these pictures.  I do not know how your treatment started or have any diagnostic records so it is difficult to comment.  If your orthodontist does not relieve your concerns after discussing it with them, you could always seek a 2nd opinion from another orthodontist in your area.  Good luck!
