Answer: Stitch Count There are a lot of stitches under the skin that will dissolve and different surgeons use different techniques for skin closure, so the total number will vary. Surgeons usually don't count the number during surgery.

Answer: Not counted by the surgeon
Contrary to popular belief, surgeons don't count the number of stitches used for any operation. A breast reduction will have multiple layers of absorbable stitches. Usually close to 100 if I were to estimate.
