My Invisalign Refinement Treatment is the Same As my Original Plan - 18 Trays. Is This Normal?

Currently there is still some slight crowding on my lower front teeth. Not happy about this -makes me wish I would have gone with traditional braces.

I would not put too much thought and get bogged down by the number of trays.  It does vary.  Also, sometimes your doctor may request the movements to take place over a longer/shorter number of aligners.  All depends on what she/he is trying to accomplish.  

	What you can do is to be faithful with wearing the aligners as prescribed for the duration of your treatment.

The only thing the same is the number of aligners, not what each Aligner is doing. I have had cases where we started with 20, then the refinement as 35. There are certainly benefits to traditional braces.
