My Breast Tissue Has Migrated Under my Armpit Can It Be Put Back to the Front Where It Belongs?

Question

Breast tissue has moved to sides of my body following meshing of abdominal area. Can this breast tissue be moved from under my armpits back to the front in the correct breast position. Also can excess skin from my upper arms be tightened by surgery and the incision put under my armpit instead of along the underneath of the upper arm. Can these 2 procedures be done in the one surgery?

Hi and thanks for the question.

	It is possible to relocate and reshape the breast and there are a number of procedures that may address your concerns. It is also possible to combine this with upper arm reduction surgery and again there are a number of different procedures that may best suit your needs.

	You need to be assessed and have the options explained to you and from there you can consider a surgical option.

Without an in person consultation and photos I can only speculate on what is needed. But, it sounds like you would benefit from a breast lift and an arm lift procedure. Both of these could be performed at the same time.

Thank you for the question but it is not in your best interests to receive advice without the benefits of photographs and/or in-person physical examination/consultation.  Based on your description, you may benefit from some type of breast lifting and/or arm lifting surgery. Again, exactly what operation will best achieve your goals will depend on your physical examination, a full communication of your goals, and a careful consideration of the downsides associated with each operation.  If you are not at your long-term stable weight, it would behoove you to achieve this weight prior to undergoing these types of operations.
