Should I go back to the orthodontist if my power chain is not completely on the bracket? (Photo)

So I recently had teeth pulled and when I went back to the orthodontist they put a little power chain to close up one of the gaps. The power chain looks like it is only on half the bracket, and hurts to bite down on. Should I go back to the orthodontist to get it fixed or wait ?

Retainer should not hurt. They need to be comfortable. you can go back to your orthodontist for adjustment.
