Hi user877, In general retainers are used to preserve the position of the teeth so as to prevent shifting.  However, sometimes we can adjust retainers to achieve small improvements such as closing small spaces or moving a tooth back into alignment that has moved forward/backward....

Best option is braces treatment. no to veneers, u have a good amount of mal-occlusion and too much tooth reduction is required in such cases. by seeing i feel u r an extraction case [ 4teeth extraction required].

HI, thanks for sending your question. Unfortunately teeth can move if retention is not consistently worn after orthodontic treatment. Some options exist at this time like getting new retainers to maintain the same position, or if the current position of the teeth is not desirable to have...
