Mouth Protrusion, weak chin, and gummy smile. Can Braces fix this?

I notice that I have mouth protrusion, gummy smile, a weak chin. I also notice that when I speak, my lower jaw goes slightly to the right. I wonder if braces can fix these. Thanks in advance.

Braces alone will not fix your problems. The reason you have a "gummy smile" is because your upper jaw is underdeveloped. The underdeveloped upper jaw is also the reason why your chin is weak. Your lower jaw is trapped behind an underdeveloped and narrow upper dental arch.There is a relatively new dental development appliance called a "DNA appliance." This appliance will stimulate development of your upper dental arch and even eliminate some of your gummy smile. Once the upper arch is fully developed then you must advance your lower jaw forward. This is done with using either the same DNA appliance of different appliance made to advance lower jaws forward. These appliances are all comfortable and easy to use. Good luck!
