The concept of dermarolling and microneedling are to penetrate the skin in a type of air rating method so we can infuse different types of serums or plasma. Dermarolling requires the aesthetican to apply an even amount of pressure with a steady hand. Since Microneedling uses the dermapen the pen keeps a constant depth. Dermarolling if there is too much pressure applied can cause more scarring. We have been seeing terrific results with our Microneedling for acne scarring, especially when treating with PRP.
