Should I be concerned about a gap on the outside of my dental bridge? (photo)

Gap in bridge I have a gap on the outside part of my bridge. Is this normal. The dentist that put it in said it was okay just make sure I floss and use a water pik to clean. I recentlt started seeing a new dentist and the hygenist said she has never seen a bridge like this.
