Are miniaturized hairs a different shape than your regular hairs?

Do miniaturized hairs turn curly on an otherwise straight head of hair? Also, would a man who has been balding for 4-5 years have very significant miniaturization? What percentage?

Miniaturized hairs by definition become thinner and shorter (they decrease in size from about 70 microns down to 20 microns in size). This miniaturization which is the definition of AGA can be slowed or reversed with minoxidil and or Finasteride.

All hair  in the scalp has same size, calibre/thickness unless person is under the affect of AGA or TE. hair gets thinner with miniaturization under afffect of AGA. No one knows that what percentage would a man who has been balding for 4-5 years have a miniaturization

Miniaturization is variable. Some bald fast. Some men bald slow. Some bald very fast. Some very very slow. Hairs can sometimes get curlier with AGA as this has been described (ie acquired progressive kinking of hair and milder variants). Generally in AGA more than 20 % are miniaturized.
