My teeth were not that crooked to begin with but here I am 2 years later still trying to get my teeth straight and my dentist claims they are already straight but I can clearly see the bottom row over lapping and 1 tooth on the top row over lapping. What should I do if he wants to end treatment and I'm not happy with the results?

Hi, Ying. It does look like external root resorption on your tooth #12. We do not know what the cause of external root resorption is but it its associated with trauma to a tooth. There really is nothing that can be done for the tooth unfortunately. It may be years before you lose the tooth...
Your teeth don't follow the trays, thus they don't fit. You may have to go back a few trays and maybe needs more IPR (interproximal reductions). Hope you saved you last few trays, as it is crutial to go back and see where the problem started.
Hi, girl83. Personally, I never like to remove teeth to correct crowding and I don't advise you doing it with this tooth. You can straighten the teeth and then correct the one discolored tooth with a porcelain veneer. Hope this helps.
