I washed my face 2 days after LASIK; should I be worried?

I had surgery on Saturday morning and it's now Monday night. I showered and completely forgot about everything and just washed my face. I used a mild scent free cleanser and didn't rub my eyes hard or really force any water in them, but I am still worried. Is there anything I can do to follow up?

you should be ok your flap can only move if you are within the 1st 3 days, if you had a PRK or LASEK you wouldn't have to worry about anything as there is no flap to dislodge:)

Washing your face could have two potential problems. 1) You could move the flap during this early healing phase. If you moved it, you would know it -- the vision would get much worse and you would have eye pain. 2) We worry about bacteria in the water. Just continue to take your antibiotic eye drops -- and don't worry.
