I had tooth #8 extracted and a dental implant and bone placed. its now been 48 hours. i contacted the dental office for aftercare instructions and was told by the office manager NOT to rinse my mouth with saltwater. =/ this goes against EVERYTHING ive read online.. not to mention i worked at a dental office for 7 years and it goes against everything ive been taught. im very confused and not sure what to do. any advice?

It looks like you had the tooth extracted and they placed a temporary bridge while you heal. I would allow at least 3-4 months for healing and bone resorption to complete before making the final bridge. That should be enough time for bone to resorb. Your bone will resorb all throughout...
In rare cases, allergic reactions are detected in patients with Ti dental implants. it's my advice to visit a dermatologist to check whether it's acne or allergy. If it's an allergy, removing the implant is the only option.
I think you mean Osstem or Adin Dental Implants. Osstem is a Korean implant company and Adin is an Israeli implant company, both with proven track records. I have placed both implants and have found both to be good dental implants
