Is it normal to have less hair on your crown, or am I going bald? (Photos)

The hair on the crown moves in all different directions which can sometimes cause  hair cut to make it look thinner than other areas. You may want to see a physician to review if there is actually any evidence of male balding or not. Taking photos every 4-6 months would be helpful especially if you don’t feel you are given a definitive yes or no.

You should definitely set up an appointment with a hair restoration specialist. They can check to see if you have miniaturization or what might be going on. There are a number of options they can give you non surgical that will help greatly.

Some men will develop only crown balding and not balding elsewhere on the scale. It is also possible that you had some very early recession in the front as these findings would go together with around balding. If you want to come to my office, I would perform our HAIRCHECK test to determine what other parts of your scalp have balding that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Hi rickstar, First of, do you have history of baldness on either side of the family? Are you taking any medication that could result to this (you are young, so probably not).I suggest a visit to your doctor.
