I had my top front 6 teeth bonded to fill in some gaps and change the color. When I went back 7 days later to have the bottom 6 done my dentist used the same color but the bottom are much whiter than the top. Why did the top discolor so quickly and is there anything I can do to make them white again?

Unfortunately, dental composite (bonding) cannot whiten. Your son can whiten his teeth and later have new bonding added to match that color, but overtime staining does happen. A more permanent fix would be to consider veneers. Hope this helps!
