Severe astigmatism: I am now 53 years old and had Lasik surgery done 13 years ago.

The past few years I have had to wear reading glasses to read. If I read longer than an hour, my eyes never adjust and everything far away is somewhat fuzzy the rest of the day. Can. I have my eyes touched up again to correct this?

Near vision loss after 40 can be corrected by monovision, aiming one eye for far and one eye for near.  Another option would be having KAMRA implant in one eye that would help you see near.  A consult with a surgeon would be able to evaluate all aspects of your vision to determine what type of correction would be best for you as both surgeries have different qualifying factors.
