A bubble of space between my teeth and my invisible braces gets filled with noticeable spit. Is this normal? (Photo)

I am a cosmetic dentist who has several years of experience with Clear Correct and even more with Invisalign.  I can tell you that the bubble is way too big.  It could be that the aligners need to be adjusted to reduce the bubble, or the aligners need to be redone.  I would suggest, very kindly, returning to your dentist and asking him/her very kindly to adjust the aligners to fit better.  If your dentist is not able to correct the issue, I would recommend asking that he/she have them redone by Clear Correct with a new impression mold.  I can tell you that I have had fabulous results using both Clear Correct and Inivsalign, so once the adjustments are made and the trays fit properly, I expect you to be happy with the results.  Good luck and I hope this helps. This is not normal.  It seems at though there is not a tight enough seal of the tray around your teeth.  Your dentist will need to take new impressions and have the lab fabricate new trays.

If you are getting saliva bubbles in your trays, this would mean that there are holes in the tray that are allowing the saliva in or that it isn't a tight enough seal of the tray around the teeth, which will allow the saliva seepage to occur.  It is possible that you may need to have these aligners replaced to get a better fit.
