Thank you for your question. Based on your photo your tattoo can be removed with laser tattoo removal. However, since your tattoo is red it will need a laser with a 532 wavelength. Laser tattoo removal is done in a series of treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart. The cost of treatment will be determined by the number sessions is required, size, color, placement and how fast your body removes the ink. The tattoo is small but appears dark in the photo.  It would likely respond to laser treatment, but it would take multiple treatment sessions for best results.  Black tatttoos tend to resond better than bright colors.  Another option might be surgical excision of the tattoo.  This would remove the tattoo completely but it would require stitches to close the wound and would leave a surgical scar.  Laser treatment is less invasive but requires multiple treatments over time to get maximal lightening of the tattoo.
