31 years old. I've got pinguecula in both eyes, with pink veins surrounding that never go away. I've worn contacts for 12 yrs. The veins swell & go bright red when I use contacts/shower and take a few hours to settle. As I can no longer use contact lenses and glasses aren't practical for sports, I'm wanting laser eye surgery. I know laser can make dry eye worse - will it make these red veins in corner of eye next to pinguecula flair up permanently? I use HycoSan drops and do hot compress as I also have mild blepharitis.
