To what extent can bad follicle angle placement be fixed? (Photos)

Question

I'm 27 & had 1700 grafts for my first hair transplant 17 days ago. Unfortunately the hairs seem to have been placed badly angled, right side looks 90°/random to normal hair & left side is questionable. I've read it can be fixed in the future by removing grafts (fue) & re-implanting but realistically how many grafts can this be done on & are grafts re-implanted in the same hole or do they get inserted nearby? Is re-inserting a graft nearby to a fue hole in the frontal hair even possible?

This is unfortunately something I am having to correct in my clinic more and more. Simple errors in placement by inexperienced surgeons and in some cases non surgeons. My protocol is to wait 6 months for me to assess and then extract and replace the grafts in the same incision to minimise scarring. Further of placement of more grafts to blend the area may also be necessary.

IF the surgeon placed the hairs at the wrong angle, you will have to wait until the hair has grown out in about 6-8 months before being examined. On such an examination, you and the surgeon you choose should discuss the options at that time.
