Cold sensitivity after removal of Invisalign attachments can be an indication of exposed dentin or porous enamel. You should give it a week or so as your enamel can naturally remineralize with saliva, or use a densensitizing toothpaste. If the sensitivity persists, you should return to your dentist who can apply a desensitizing varnish or treatment. In our office, we use a dental laser with excellent results for calming sensitive tooth nerves down as well.
Dear Tommac725,Most likely the sensitivity will go away. If it persists, I recommend speaking to your dentist or orthodontist regarding your options to alleviate the sensitivity. Best,Dr. Jenn
